Write for Seriesly TV: we're looking for a few TV obsessives

The blog you’re reading is written by people who love TV a slightly unhealthy amount. We’d like a few more of those people. Maybe you.

Seriesly is growing, and the blog is growing with it. We want more voices here: more shows covered, more opinions, more of the specific weird brilliance that comes from someone writing about the one series they will not stop thinking about. That’s where you come in.

Let’s be honest about the deal

We’re not going to bury this. Right now, this is a volunteer thing. Seriesly is free, has no ads, and doesn’t sell your data, which is wonderful for everyone except the part of the budget that would pay writers. We can’t offer a paycheck yet.

Here’s what we can offer, and we mean every word of it.

Your name on your work. A real byline and an author page. What you write is yours, credited to you, in front of an audience that actually cares about this stuff.

A say in what gets made. You are not a content mill. You pitch the shows and angles you care about, we talk them through together, and you write the thing you actually wanted to write. If you think we’re covering the wrong shows, tell us. We will probably agree.

Someone on the other end who’s listening. Every idea you send gets read by a human who loves TV as much as you do. You’ll get notes, encouragement, and honest back-and-forth, not a silent void and an auto-reply. When you’re part of this, you’re part of it.

A front-row seat. You’ll be close to the product, the roadmap, and the early decisions. The people building Seriesly will know your name and your taste. That’s not nothing at a place this small.

Who we’re actually looking for

You watch too much television and you’re not sorry about it. You have opinions, and you can explain why you hold them without turning into a wall of text. You can hit a loose deadline. You’d rather be honest than nice when a beloved show drops the ball.

That’s the whole list. No degree, no clips in fancy outlets, no experience required. We started as fans too.
